Vinny Tafuro, M.S. Foresight, Founder & Author

Vinny is a founder of the Institute for Economic Evolution. A polymath and curious by nature, he is a pioneering advocate for the twenty-first-century economy that is disrupting society’s rigid institutions and beliefs. Vinny’s economic and foresight projects explore the societal and economic shifts being catalyzed by human culture as a result of technology, corporate personhood, and evolving human cognition.

An engaging and energetic speaker, Vinny presents on a variety of topics both professionally and through community outreach. He is an adjunct professor of communications at the University of Tampa and enjoys an active and blended professional, academic, and personal life, selecting challenging projects that offer opportunities for personal and professional growth.

He is the author of Corporate Empathy and Unlocking the Labor Cage.

Jamie Klingman, DBA, Serial Entrepreneur & Philanthropist

Jamie Klingman has 20+ years experience in business startup, growth/development, and exit strategies. She has a special interest in social enterprise and received her Doctorate of Business Administration in Social Impact Management in 2023. Jamie currently owns several companies in the real estate, business brokerage, publishing, and multimedia sectors and is always looking for the win-win.

Jamie has been recognized as a Lightning Community Hero, Greater Tampa Realtors Community Service Realtor of the Year, and the Network for Executive Women Woman of the Year. She has served in many leadership roles including Chair of the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay (2018) and Chair of the Temple Terrace Chamber (2014) and is involved in many charitable efforts and boards.

Scott Callison, MBA, CRPC® | Financial Consultant

Scott brings over 20 years of financial industry experience and currently serves as the St. Pete Market Leader for LMCU. He holds an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a B.S. in HR Management from Point Park University.

Scott actively supports his family business, Code Wiz, which empowers kids through coding, robotics, and game design. He serves on the Take Stock in Children Committee with the Pinellas Education Foundation and mentors a student at Northeast High School. He is a volunteer board member at Creative Clay and serves on the Institute for Economic Evolution board and the St. Pete Chamber of Commerce finance committee.

Scott advocates for homeownership initiatives and supports local entrepreneurs, aligning with LMCU’s mission to help members achieve dreams while strengthening communities. He and LMCU are proud members of One Community Grocery Co-op, expanding access to healthy food.

Kari Goetz, M.A., Founder & Chief Flying Squirrel, Winzig Consulting

Kari Goetz, M.A., is the founder, and Chief Flying Squirrel of Winzig Consulting, a full-service marketing and communications firm that focuses on interactive solutions, team building, strategy, and innovation, in order to foster the establishment of a positive culture in organizations. A former performer and director at Second City Hollywood, Kari is the author of Improv(e) Business: Developing Skills for Personal and Professional Success, and has taught creative leadership and management courses in the MBA programs of University of South Florida in Tampa and Wayne State in Detroit. She has worked with scores of companies to improv(e) their culture and embrace change. Winzig Consulting embodies the very essence of Kari Goetz, showcasing her 25 years in marketing, communications, and fundraising within the aviation, entertainment, and nonprofit industries, Kari consistently brings forth innovative solutions in all her endeavors. In the community, Kari is a board member of the Tony Jannus Distinguished Aviation Society and Stageworks Theatre, actively leading in the Tampa Bay Chamber and the Athena Society. With a BFA in Theater from the University of Florida and an MA in Communication from the University of South Florida, Kari doesn’t just talk the talk; you will likely find her performing or directing regional theater.
